Horace Dediu has a great post up today about the market share of the smartphone competitors and the market disruption in the low end price area.

Of the vendors tracked (public companies who report mobile phone divisional performance), Apple obtained 73% of operating profits, Samsung 26% and HTC 1%.

Every other smartphone manufacturer made less profit selling smartphones than I did. Crazy.
