Apple Insider today published a rumor that Apple was interested in acquiring German television manufacturer Loewe. I've never heard of Loewe, but their televisions do in fact look beautiful. It gets me a little excited, but I can't see this rumor being true. Apple is not in the habit of purchasing companies for their product designs. That's why they have Jonathan Ive.
